Ameri-Tech (formerly Select-Tech) has produced the AMMO brand of plastic media since 1984. The founders of Ameri-Tech were instrumental in the introduction of plastic media blasting to the military in the mid-1980’s. The AMMO brand plastic media was initially used to strip paint surfaces off F-4 fighter aircraft at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
